Fire Safety

     We had a great visit with volunteers from the Westmere Fire Department. We reviewed lots of information about 911 and what to do if there is a fire in your home. We had the chance to see a firefighter in full gear. We talked about how it is important not to hide from a firefighter because s/he might look scary with their breathing mask on. The children loved climbing into the fire truck and seeing the equipment up close. Have you checked/changed the batteries in your smoke detectors lately?
