Indian Ladder Farm Field Trip

Being able to go behind the scenes and hike all over the farm helped us learn so much on our field trip. The day wasn't just about eating apples and donuts. Did your child tell you we learned that the Helderberg Mountains used to be under water??? We were really surprised to see how they get the huge bins full of 800 pounds of apples into their store. And it was very chilly in the big refrigerated building where the apples are stored. Take a look at some pictures and ask your child to tell you more.

We used these and many more photos to write our first class book about our trip as well!
